I grew up in the Chicago suburbs in a very musical family who values all of the arts. From the time I could talk I sang; it was a natural extension of my voice, and expressing myself telling stories through song was my favorite thing to do, and still is!
In preschool, I gathered all the little chairs, set them up theater style, and sang for my classmates in my first public show! My childhood was spent putting on shows with my older sister, taking piano and voice lessons, participating in after school theater programs and summer theater camps. In those programs I found my people.
Fast forward to all the incredible opportunities I was afforded in my high school theater and choir departments, and singing lead vocals in various rock bands performing around Chicago, to eventually getting a BM in Musical Theater from Manhattan School of Music. All of my experiences have been part of my incredible journey, helping shape the artist I am.
